What a small coaching prompt can offer

Not every useful shift begins with a long conversation. Sometimes a good question is a place to start.

A question, not a grand solution.

A coaching prompt does not need to solve the whole day. It can help make the next few minutes more deliberate: what deserves attention, what needs clarification, or what could wait?

The useful shift may be small. Naming a next step can create a place to begin when the work feels scattered. Pausing to clarify an expectation can be more useful than pushing ahead with an assumption.

    Relevance before volume.

More advice is not necessarily more help. A prompt tied to how someone has just checked in gives them a specific thought to consider, rather than a long list of general recommendations.

In Paulo, the AI coaching experience is private. It is there for the employee to reflect with, not for a manager to review.

    Keep a sense of proportion.

An AI prompt is a suggestion. People bring context and judgment that a tool does not have. A response can be useful, irrelevant, or worth questioning.

Coaching prompts are not medical or mental health care, and they do not replace a real conversation when someone needs support. Their role is narrower: a small invitation to think.

A Paulo perspective, not a research finding or customer case study.
